CVE-2015-9267 2 Debian, Nullsoft 2 Debian Linux, Nullsoft Scriptable Install System 2023-12-10 3.6 LOW 5.5 MEDIUM
Nullsoft Scriptable Install System (NSIS) before 2.49 uses temporary folder locations that allow unprivileged local users to overwrite files. This allows a local attack in which either a plugin or the uninstaller can be replaced by a Trojan horse program.
CVE-2018-20721 2 Debian, Uriparser Project 2 Debian Linux, Uriparser 2023-12-10 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
URI_FUNC() in UriParse.c in uriparser before 0.9.1 has an out-of-bounds read (in uriParse*Ex* functions) for an incomplete URI with an IPv6 address containing an embedded IPv4 address, such as a "//[::44.1" address.
CVE-2019-6111 10 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 7 more 27 Mina Sshd, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 24 more 2023-12-10 5.8 MEDIUM 5.9 MEDIUM
An issue was discovered in OpenSSH 7.9. Due to the scp implementation being derived from 1983 rcp, the server chooses which files/directories are sent to the client. However, the scp client only performs cursory validation of the object name returned (only directory traversal attacks are prevented). A malicious scp server (or Man-in-The-Middle attacker) can overwrite arbitrary files in the scp client target directory. If recursive operation (-r) is performed, the server can manipulate subdirectories as well (for example, to overwrite the .ssh/authorized_keys file).
CVE-2018-18710 3 Canonical, Debian, Linux 3 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2023-12-10 2.1 LOW 5.5 MEDIUM
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel through 4.19. An information leak in cdrom_ioctl_select_disc in drivers/cdrom/cdrom.c could be used by local attackers to read kernel memory because a cast from unsigned long to int interferes with bounds checking. This is similar to CVE-2018-10940 and CVE-2018-16658.
CVE-2018-16841 3 Canonical, Debian, Samba 3 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Samba 2023-12-10 4.0 MEDIUM 6.5 MEDIUM
Samba from version 4.3.0 and before versions 4.7.12, 4.8.7 and 4.9.3 are vulnerable to a denial of service. When configured to accept smart-card authentication, Samba's KDC will call talloc_free() twice on the same memory if the principal in a validly signed certificate does not match the principal in the AS-REQ. This is only possible after authentication with a trusted certificate. talloc is robust against further corruption from a double-free with talloc_free() and directly calls abort(), terminating the KDC process.
CVE-2017-7481 3 Canonical, Debian, Redhat 10 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Ansible Engine and 7 more 2023-12-10 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
Ansible before versions 2.3.1.0 and 2.4.0.0 fails to properly mark lookup-plugin results as unsafe. If an attacker could control the results of lookup() calls, they could inject Unicode strings to be parsed by the jinja2 templating system, resulting in code execution. By default, the jinja2 templating language is now marked as 'unsafe' and is not evaluated.
CVE-2018-18506 5 Canonical, Debian, Mozilla and 2 more 12 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Firefox and 9 more 2023-12-10 4.3 MEDIUM 5.9 MEDIUM
When proxy auto-detection is enabled, if a web server serves a Proxy Auto-Configuration (PAC) file or if a PAC file is loaded locally, this PAC file can specify that requests to the localhost are to be sent through the proxy to another server. This behavior is disallowed by default when a proxy is manually configured, but when enabled could allow for attacks on services and tools that bind to the localhost for networked behavior if they are accessed through browsing. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 65.
CVE-2018-6139 3 Debian, Google, Redhat 5 Debian Linux, Chrome, Enterprise Linux Desktop and 2 more 2023-12-10 6.8 MEDIUM 8.8 HIGH
Insufficient target checks on the chrome.debugger API in DevTools in Google Chrome prior to 67.0.3396.62 allowed an attacker who convinced a user to install a malicious extension to execute arbitrary code via a crafted Chrome Extension.
CVE-2018-16435 4 Canonical, Debian, Littlecms and 1 more 6 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Little Cms Color Engine and 3 more 2023-12-10 4.3 MEDIUM 5.5 MEDIUM
Little CMS (aka Little Color Management System) 2.9 has an integer overflow in the AllocateDataSet function in cmscgats.c, leading to a heap-based buffer overflow in the SetData function via a crafted file in the second argument to cmsIT8LoadFromFile.
CVE-2016-9572 2 Debian, Uclouvain 2 Debian Linux, Openjpeg 2023-12-10 4.3 MEDIUM 6.5 MEDIUM
A NULL pointer dereference flaw was found in the way openjpeg 2.1.2 decoded certain input images. Due to a logic error in the code responsible for decoding the input image, an application using openjpeg to process image data could crash when processing a crafted image.
CVE-2018-19626 2 Debian, Wireshark 2 Debian Linux, Wireshark 2023-12-10 4.3 MEDIUM 5.5 MEDIUM
In Wireshark 2.6.0 to 2.6.4 and 2.4.0 to 2.4.10, the DCOM dissector could crash. This was addressed in epan/dissectors/packet-dcom.c by adding '\0' termination.
CVE-2018-6174 3 Debian, Google, Redhat 5 Debian Linux, Chrome, Enterprise Linux Desktop and 2 more 2023-12-10 6.8 MEDIUM 8.8 HIGH
Integer overflows in Swiftshader in Google Chrome prior to 68.0.3440.75 potentially allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code via a crafted HTML page.
CVE-2019-2422 7 Canonical, Debian, Hp and 4 more 18 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Xp7 Command View and 15 more 2023-12-10 2.6 LOW 3.1 LOW
Vulnerability in the Java SE component of Oracle Java SE (subcomponent: Libraries). Supported versions that are affected are Java SE: 7u201, 8u192 and 11.0.1; Java SE Embedded: 8u191. Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via multiple protocols to compromise Java SE. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized read access to a subset of Java SE accessible data. Note: This vulnerability applies to Java deployments, typically in clients running sandboxed Java Web Start applications or sandboxed Java applets (in Java SE 8), that load and run untrusted code (e.g., code that comes from the internet) and rely on the Java sandbox for security. This vulnerability does not apply to Java deployments, typically in servers, that load and run only trusted code (e.g., code installed by an administrator). CVSS 3.0 Base Score 3.1 (Confidentiality impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.0/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N).
CVE-2018-6126 3 Debian, Google, Redhat 5 Debian Linux, Chrome, Enterprise Linux Desktop and 2 more 2023-12-10 6.8 MEDIUM 8.8 HIGH
A precision error in Skia in Google Chrome prior to 67.0.3396.62 allowed a remote attacker to perform an out of bounds memory write via a crafted HTML page.
CVE-2018-19362 4 Debian, Fasterxml, Oracle and 1 more 12 Debian Linux, Jackson-databind, Business Process Management Suite and 9 more 2023-12-10 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
FasterXML jackson-databind 2.x before 2.9.8 might allow attackers to have unspecified impact by leveraging failure to block the jboss-common-core class from polymorphic deserialization.
CVE-2018-8797 3 Debian, Opensuse, Rdesktop 3 Debian Linux, Leap, Rdesktop 2023-12-10 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
rdesktop versions up to and including v1.8.3 contain a Heap-Based Buffer Overflow in function process_plane() that results in a memory corruption and probably even a remote code execution.
CVE-2018-18541 2 Debian, Teeworlds 2 Debian Linux, Teeworlds 2023-12-10 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
In Teeworlds before 0.6.5, connection packets could be forged. There was no challenge-response involved in the connection build up. A remote attacker could send connection packets from a spoofed IP address and occupy all server slots, or even use them for a reflection attack using map download packets.
CVE-2017-15408 3 Debian, Google, Redhat 5 Debian Linux, Chrome, Enterprise Linux Desktop and 2 more 2023-12-10 6.8 MEDIUM 8.8 HIGH
Heap buffer overflow in Omnibox in Google Chrome prior to 63.0.3239.84 allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted PDF file that is mishandled by PDFium.
