CVE-2023-3019 2 Qemu, Redhat 2 Qemu, Enterprise Linux 2024-03-07 N/A 6.5 MEDIUM
A DMA reentrancy issue leading to a use-after-free error was found in the e1000e NIC emulation code in QEMU. This issue could allow a privileged guest user to crash the QEMU process on the host, resulting in a denial of service.
CVE-2024-0409 4 Fedoraproject, Redhat, Tigervnc and 1 more 12 Fedora, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Desktop and 9 more 2024-03-07 N/A 7.8 HIGH
A flaw was found in the X.Org server. The cursor code in both Xephyr and Xwayland uses the wrong type of private at creation. It uses the cursor bits type with the cursor as private, and when initiating the cursor, that overwrites the XSELINUX context.
CVE-2024-0408 4 Fedoraproject, Redhat, Tigervnc and 1 more 12 Fedora, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Desktop and 9 more 2024-03-07 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
A flaw was found in the X.Org server. The GLX PBuffer code does not call the XACE hook when creating the buffer, leaving it unlabeled. When the client issues another request to access that resource (as with a GetGeometry) or when it creates another resource that needs to access that buffer, such as a GC, the XSELINUX code will try to use an object that was never labeled and crash because the SID is NULL.
CVE-2023-50387 8 Fedoraproject, Isc, Microsoft and 5 more 13 Fedora, Bind, Windows Server 2008 and 10 more 2024-03-07 N/A 7.5 HIGH
Certain DNSSEC aspects of the DNS protocol (in RFC 4033, 4034, 4035, 6840, and related RFCs) allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (CPU consumption) via one or more DNSSEC responses, aka the "KeyTrap" issue. One of the concerns is that, when there is a zone with many DNSKEY and RRSIG records, the protocol specification implies that an algorithm must evaluate all combinations of DNSKEY and RRSIG records.
CVE-2023-1192 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2024-03-07 N/A 6.5 MEDIUM
A use-after-free flaw was found in smb2_is_status_io_timeout() in CIFS in the Linux Kernel. After CIFS transfers response data to a system call, there are still local variable points to the memory region, and if the system call frees it faster than CIFS uses it, CIFS will access a free memory region, leading to a denial of service.
CVE-2023-43787 3 Fedoraproject, Redhat, X.org 3 Fedora, Enterprise Linux, Libx11 2024-03-05 N/A 7.8 HIGH
A vulnerability was found in libX11 due to an integer overflow within the XCreateImage() function. This flaw allows a local user to trigger an integer overflow and execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges.
CVE-2021-3621 2 Fedoraproject, Redhat 8 Fedora, Sssd, Enterprise Linux and 5 more 2024-03-04 9.3 HIGH 8.8 HIGH
A flaw was found in SSSD, where the sssctl command was vulnerable to shell command injection via the logs-fetch and cache-expire subcommands. This flaw allows an attacker to trick the root user into running a specially crafted sssctl command, such as via sudo, to gain root access. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to confidentiality, integrity, as well as system availability.
CVE-2023-42753 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat 3 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2024-02-27 N/A 7.8 HIGH
An array indexing vulnerability was found in the netfilter subsystem of the Linux kernel. A missing macro could lead to a miscalculation of the `h->nets` array offset, providing attackers with the primitive to arbitrarily increment/decrement a memory buffer out-of-bound. This issue may allow a local user to crash the system or potentially escalate their privileges on the system.
CVE-2019-11477 6 Canonical, F5, Ivanti and 3 more 24 Ubuntu Linux, Big-ip Access Policy Manager, Big-ip Advanced Firewall Manager and 21 more 2024-02-27 7.8 HIGH 7.5 HIGH
Jonathan Looney discovered that the TCP_SKB_CB(skb)->tcp_gso_segs value was subject to an integer overflow in the Linux kernel when handling TCP Selective Acknowledgments (SACKs). A remote attacker could use this to cause a denial of service. This has been fixed in stable kernel releases 4.4.182, 4.9.182, 4.14.127, 4.19.52, 5.1.11, and is fixed in commit 3b4929f65b0d8249f19a50245cd88ed1a2f78cff.
CVE-2019-11478 6 Canonical, F5, Ivanti and 3 more 24 Ubuntu Linux, Big-ip Access Policy Manager, Big-ip Advanced Firewall Manager and 21 more 2024-02-27 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
Jonathan Looney discovered that the TCP retransmission queue implementation in tcp_fragment in the Linux kernel could be fragmented when handling certain TCP Selective Acknowledgment (SACK) sequences. A remote attacker could use this to cause a denial of service. This has been fixed in stable kernel releases 4.4.182, 4.9.182, 4.14.127, 4.19.52, 5.1.11, and is fixed in commit f070ef2ac66716357066b683fb0baf55f8191a2e.
CVE-2023-51767 3 Fedoraproject, Openbsd, Redhat 3 Fedora, Openssh, Enterprise Linux 2024-02-27 N/A 7.0 HIGH
OpenSSH through 9.6, when common types of DRAM are used, might allow row hammer attacks (for authentication bypass) because the integer value of authenticated in mm_answer_authpassword does not resist flips of a single bit. NOTE: this is applicable to a certain threat model of attacker-victim co-location in which the attacker has user privileges.
CVE-2023-50782 2 Python-cryptography Project, Redhat 4 Python-cryptography, Ansible Automation Platform, Enterprise Linux and 1 more 2024-02-26 N/A 7.5 HIGH
A flaw was found in the python-cryptography package. This issue may allow a remote attacker to decrypt captured messages in TLS servers that use RSA key exchanges, which may lead to exposure of confidential or sensitive data.
CVE-2023-50781 2 M2crypto Project, Redhat 3 M2crypto, Enterprise Linux, Update Infrastructure 2024-02-26 N/A 7.5 HIGH
A flaw was found in m2crypto. This issue may allow a remote attacker to decrypt captured messages in TLS servers that use RSA key exchanges, which may lead to exposure of confidential or sensitive data.
CVE-2023-4535 3 Fedoraproject, Opensc Project, Redhat 3 Fedora, Opensc, Enterprise Linux 2024-02-23 N/A 3.8 LOW
An out-of-bounds read vulnerability was found in OpenSC packages within the MyEID driver when handling symmetric key encryption. Exploiting this flaw requires an attacker to have physical access to the computer and a specially crafted USB device or smart card. This flaw allows the attacker to manipulate APDU responses and potentially gain unauthorized access to sensitive data, compromising the system's security.
CVE-2023-6683 2 Qemu, Redhat 2 Qemu, Enterprise Linux 2024-02-23 N/A 6.5 MEDIUM
A flaw was found in the QEMU built-in VNC server while processing ClientCutText messages. The qemu_clipboard_request() function can be reached before vnc_server_cut_text_caps() was called and had the chance to initialize the clipboard peer, leading to a NULL pointer dereference. This could allow a malicious authenticated VNC client to crash QEMU and trigger a denial of service.
CVE-2023-6004 3 Fedoraproject, Libssh, Redhat 3 Fedora, Libssh, Enterprise Linux 2024-02-23 N/A 4.8 MEDIUM
A flaw was found in libssh. By utilizing the ProxyCommand or ProxyJump feature, users can exploit unchecked hostname syntax on the client. This issue may allow an attacker to inject malicious code into the command of the features mentioned through the hostname parameter.
CVE-2023-5156 2 Gnu, Redhat 2 Glibc, Enterprise Linux 2024-02-23 N/A 7.5 HIGH
A flaw was found in the GNU C Library. A recent fix for CVE-2023-4806 introduced the potential for a memory leak, which may result in an application crash.
